There’s a growing trend at the moment for classic, enduring items that people can hand on to future generations. Of course, for some people that might mean an iconic piece of furniture or a premium watch, but for me, there’s no better way to start a family tradition than by investing in a classic piece of jewellery.
I’d say your best choice for a real investment piece would be something timeless and elegant that’s easy to wear whatever your personal style – who knows who’ll be wearing it in a hundred years time? Alternatively, a real statement piece would be a good choice. Or maybe something with sentimental value – your wedding necklace or the bracelet you wore at a special event.
